Thobela Attorneys was established in the year 2006 by SJ THOBELA to be one of the dynamic and leading black owned legal practices in the province with the objective of recruiting more white professional in the future to address the issue of racial division in the province.

Mr. THOBELA obtained his LLB degree at the University of the North in 2002; he joined the University by the year 1999 and completed his degree in record time Mr.
THOBELA has acquired a lot of leadership experience since he was in various positions of student leadership. He served as a chairperson of constitution and legal affairs and later was deployed to the executive committee of the SRC as a Deputy Secretary.
